I’m reading John Owen’s Apostasy From the Gospel. It’s a Puritan Paperback. Revised and abridged, thankfully they are much easier to read. Some who profess Christ fall away and do not finish the race. How and why does this happen? Owen gives some great insight into this neglected topic.
Just finishing Wendell Berry’s A Place on Earth. I very much enjoyed it. They definitely make me want to get outside and start working the earth – and really just get alone with my thoughts.
